"Few people realize the tremendous connection between the eyes and general health. So whenever I conduct an eye exam, I explain the purpose of each test and the patient's prognosis. I'll inquire about other factors, such as allergies, illnesses or medications, that could have an effect on my patients' vision. I often hear my patients say, `I've never had such a thorough eye exam.' I just want my patients to benefit from the best eye care available." |
